This 2007 Carbon Silver 350Z is my second Z car. Both cars have been a hobby for me, albeit very different hobbies. With my first Z, it was all about power and show. I enjoyed the first Z, everything I did to it and with it. But, after a bit of bad luck, my engine gave up. I decided to go a different route with my hobby, and exchanged the 2003 for this 2007.
I did a few auto-cross events in the ‘03, but I had always wanted to track (road course events) the car. So, as soon as the ‘07 was broke in, I did a couple auto-cross events; then it was off to the track. I did my first High Performance Driving Event (HPDE) in August, 2007 with Tarheel Sports Car Club\Triangle Z Car Club at Carolina Motorsports Park. Between August, 2007 and December 2009, I completed 15+ HPDE’s and lapping days. And, I intend to do many more. The 2007 simply loves the track, and the only thing I have done to it is change the springs. I have seen pretty much all generation Z’s at the track, and I can tell you that all of them are sports cars. So, if you have a Z, get out there and drive it! Please take a look at my first Z also.
