This is the first major event for the public at the new track....YAHOO!!! I will be there at 3:00PM and suggest that we all try to hang out on the west side of the tract. If you are on the starting line it would be the seats to your left. I suspect they will be racing on the left two lanes. Hope a few of you can make it.

The Bellagio of drag strips opens its doors once again for the Vault Assault Street Racing Challenge, Thursday evening, Dec. 11. For only $25 per vehicle, competitors can bring their street-legal, DOT certified car to zMAX Dragway for an evening of heads-up drag racing. Bring five canned food items and get $5 off the vehicle entry fee or a free spectator admission. The canned food items will be donated to help stock local food pantries. Registration begins at 3 p.m. with racing starting at 5 p.m. and running until 9 p.m.

Not only am I curious about the new facility, but also if Randy can hook up that massive new-found power of his. Word is that he couldn't keep the wheels from spinning on the Dyno in Spartenburg a couple of weeks ago; and that was with sandbags and people in the back!!

Yep, I'll be heading there straight from work. Might get there a little late but we'll see. Hope I can make it in time to see the first run.

Dad and I are planning to roll out the Black beast for some tuning runs. My uncle should be there in his 69' Z28 Camero aswell. Hopefully we'll be able to get some good runs in but Im guessing its going to be packed.

Everyone should probably have their phones and numbers on hand so we can meet up in the stands :02:
