What a long strange trip it's been
Really lookin' forward to it as well. Never been on Patriot course, and the little 1.1 mile circuit has been described to me as like a Kart track for cars & bikes - with lots of elevation change. Here is our friend Mike Skeen navigating the course;

Be doing all this with no synchro for 5th gear (and vague suspicions growing as to 2nd gear's very initial synchro symptoms as to eventual deterioration as well) but then, I was rev-matching my azz off at CMP to compensate for 5th upshift, and I'll not use it on Patriot, and perhaps 3 times on full course (both long straights, and if I get T4,T5 & T6 right, then upshift to 5th - right before the climbing esses) - just take it easy and match it up, slip it in - aahhhh, ooooook (just tiny "catch"). Tranny gets replaced over Winter, so might as well get some laps out of it!
In past I did not pay as much attention to wet skid pad work as I should have. I now understand the folly of that. My car control would be better for it, so I hope to get a chance to work at that on Sun. as well. 2nd-3rd gear and We Be DRIFTIN'!!! (with little of no tire wear - hot dawg!)

I have already split a Villa some other folks, Wife be there Sat./Sun night, and my youngest Son+GF are staying with us as too (they are 1st timers).
Here are the rates for the Villas
Sat 11/27/10 Rack Rate 330.00 + (tx)33.00 = 363.00
Sun 11/28/10 Rack Rate 305.00 + (tx) 30.50 = 335.50
Typical there is [1]K, [1]Q, [2]T beds, and oodles of crash room otherwise.
I believe the Lodge has gone up to $120 (2)T or (1)K beds, but they are nice too.

Looking at attendee list, we have a large contingent (from all over) of 1st gen, 2nd gen track cars, and a good number of Z33s, a Z34 & [1] lone G35 :57: signed up for the event
